We're Home!!!

We are home. We walked in our house sometime after 10pm last night. Our last flight was delayed, hence the late arrival home. We had a wonderful group of friends meet us at the airport upon our arrival with balloons and signs and flashing photography. We know and we feel that we are loved and we know that Gracie Lu sense's that too. She just smiled at everyone last night.

We had a rough night due to jet lag. Gracie didn't sleep much at all since our night here is her day back in ET. Libby slept from midnight to 5:20 AM. But we will push through the jet lag in time. Gracie's chicken pox are - for the most part - looking better. Now she just has a cold with green mucus so she sounded like a snoring puppy when she did sleep last night. Hopefully we can get her in to see the doctor early this coming week.

Billy and Winky, the beautiful Moses basket arrived and Gracie Lu is taking her nap in it right now. I will try to call you today sometime.

We are going to take the next few days to figure out Gracie Lu's schedule and get over jet lag. We're going to relax and enjoy some private family time, just the four of us. I am already loving it!

We pray all our traveling buddies made it home safely. We will try to be in touch with all of you soon!

I plan to share some more about out trip to ET, but I want to take my time to think it all through and jet lag is muddling up my mind right now. There are many things we saw and experienced in ET that have stirred my heart in one way or another.

I want to thank all of you for praying us through the last month or two of our lives and particularly the last 12 days. Without the grace of God and your prayers on our behalf we would not have survived with such peace and determination and hope. We would have buckled under all the pressure and been depressed or angry. But no - we are, even in the midst of trial and exhaustion - full of joy.

We have such love for all of you. Gracie is beautiful. Libby is doing great so far and seems very happy to be home. We are incredibly blessed.

This post is not the end of the story. It is only the beginning!

Blessings,
Cindy

So glad you are home and safe. I remember those days just after the China trip trying to get TWO little people on Texas time. I am so glad you are planning to rest, relax and enjoy each other. Sorry we couldn't make it to the airport, but we sent all our representatives. Ha. Big hugs all around, and we can't wait to see you all in person soon. sm
