YOU ALL DID IT!!! As of this morning Children's Hope Chest's formula drive raised the $12,500 goal amount and will be purchasing 400 cans of Nutramigen formula for the malnourished babies in the America World transitional home in Ethiopia.
Starting at the beginning of this year AW began seeing some of the most malnourished baby cases they have seen in years past. The famine is severe, especially in remote villages. Pray for the people there. And thank you for your contributions to this effort.
Let me go on to say this.... the job is not done. We can still continue to take this formula over to the transitional home. I will be taking 2 suitcases full of formula you all donated to us. And there are other families who can take more.... So don't stop! Some of you have had the desire to do your own formula drives since before CHC began theirs. Do not think, "well, I can't do what they did because they had a bigger "audience" to appeal to." No - think this.... If God put it on your heart - obey his command. That's how we show him we love him. "If you say you love me, do what I say." Did you hear him say something.... then be blessed in the doing and know God has his purpose in it - no matter how small it may seem to you.
