After a LONG day (or two?) of travel we are now in our hotel in Dubai. This will be short because Libby is sick and melting down. We had to get Libby's fever down before our NY flight. That got done, but once we were on the flight her temp spiked to 103 just a couple of hours into the journey. We had cold rags on her forehead and gave her more meds. She was so uncomfortable and difficult because she felt so bad. She would only let me hold her, she refused to eat or drink, she cried, kicked... you name it.
BUT we are here and made it through all security points despite her fever and we are hoping to rest now and get her well.
Pictures and future posts to come, but for now - we rest.
Thank you for your prayers!
Blessings,
Cindy

So glad you made it!! Doesn't sound fun, but hopefully you've gotten all of the bad stuff is out of the way so that the rest of the trip will be miraculously easy! Praying for quick and complete healing for Libs.
Love you and can't wait to hear more. Not that I'm checking the blog every hour or anything...
Praying for Libby...for all of you.
Asking the LORD to go before you and make a smooth way.
We are praying praying praying. Can't stop thinking about all of you. Tell sweet Libby that Taylor has some presents for her and drew her a picture. We love you and I really hope you get rest and Libby feels better quickly.
Praying for you Cindy, especially for Miss Libby---having a sick kid is difficult in NORMAL circumstances, so I know this is a challenge. Our God is bigger..
Love,

"Father, thank you for the endurance that you have given Cindy and Billy on this leg of the journey. Please give to your beloved ones even as they sleep at this hour. Redeem their physical bodies, emotional capacity, mental awareness. May they know that You have truly kept them, especially in their weakest hours. What they thought they couldn't go through or be too difficult, You have carried them. Strengthen the arms that have held Libby all these long hours. Say to the fever 'no more.' May LIFE in Jesus name come to your children now in as much as they have obeyed Your word. And all the people said....Amen!"
Never commented before, I have been reading your blog for some time now and although I hate blog stalkers on my blog for some reason I have never commented on yours. (My husband and I are praying to be accepted to an agency to adopt a baby girl form Ethiopia just next week, not the baby the acceptance).
I am so excited for your sweet Gracie Lu! Also I am praying for all of you but especially your precious Libby through out your travel! Hope that sweet girl starts feel better, she is going to be an amazing big sister to little Gracie!
