Travel Prayers

This is Cristie, a friend of Cindy's.

I am updating their blog for them today as they are traveling but Cindy wanted to get the word out.

Cindy called late this afternoon from NYC/Kennedy airport.  Libby was running 102 degree fever, she hadn't slept all day, eaten and wasn't taking in fluids.  Cindy was very concerned about getting through security and needed Libby's fever to come down within two hours!  The prayer chain went out!  

At 7:30 I talked to Cindy again.  They made it through security and were just awaiting to board the plane.  As I type, my husband is on the phone with Billy who just called and said they have boarded the plane (it's 9:30 Texas time).  PRAISE THE LORD!  Next stop .. Dubai!  

Please pray for travel mercies.  Please pray for Libby to get some good rest! Please pray that her fever breaks and that her body be healed quickly!  Pray for the long flight ahead.  It has already been an exhausting day and Cindy already sounded pooped.  Please pray that she can get some sleep!

Hopefully, the next post will be Cindy announcing they have made it to Dubai!
